Hiring equipment from Pinnacle Peak Hire is designed to be straightforward. Each step is structured to ensure clarity, safety, and a reliable outcome from booking through to return.

1. Book your equipment

Select your equipment, choose your dates, and submit your booking online.

You can:

  • View live availability
  • Select the appropriate attachments
  • See clear and transparent pricing

No upfront payment is required at the time of booking. Your equipment is reserved for your selected dates.

2. Confirm your booking

Once your booking is submitted:

  • A confirmation will be issued via email
  • Hire details will be reviewed
  • Any specific requirements can be discussed

Prior to your hire:

  • A payment link will be issued via email
  • Payment must be completed before collection or delivery

A $100 credit card security deposit authorisation is also required. This is held and released upon return of the equipment in clean, undamaged, and refuelled condition.

3. Prepare for towing

All trailers are fitted with the Elecbrakes EB2 wireless brake controller system.

To tow the trailer, you must:

  • Download the Elecbrakes mobile app
  • Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone
  • Connect and configure the brake settings

This system allows you to safely control trailer braking directly from your phone.

4. Collect or arrange delivery

You can either:

  • Collect from Peak Crossing, or
  • Arrange delivery to your site

At handover:

  • ID verification is required
  • Equipment condition is confirmed
  • Trailer brake system is tested
  • Basic operational guidance can be provided

All equipment is supplied clean, fuelled, and ready for use.

5. Use the equipment

Equipment is selected for reliability and ease of use.

During your hire:

  • Use equipment only for its intended purpose
  • Operate safely and in suitable conditions
  • Contact Penny if any issues arise

If weather impacts your ability to complete the work, flexibility may be provided where availability allows.

6. Return the equipment

At the end of your hire:

  • Return equipment at the agreed time, or
  • Arrange collection if delivery was selected

Equipment must be returned:

  • Clean
  • Refuelled (where applicable)
  • In the same condition as supplied

7. Finalise your hire

Once returned:

  • Equipment is inspected
  • The security deposit authorisation is released (subject to condition)
  • Any outstanding items are finalised

The process is designed to be efficient, fair, and transparent.

Key requirements

Before your hire, please ensure:

  • A suitable towing vehicle is available (if collecting)
  • The Elecbrakes app is installed
  • Payment is completed
  • Valid identification is provided
